 Helme Lodge is our largest building sleeping 35 and its central location makes it ideal as a base for larger events and a base to work from for larger numbers of people camping in addition to those staying in the building. The building has a large day / dining room with heating and a wood - burning stove. The kitchen is fully equipped to cater for up to 40 people, with crockery and cutlery included. We have also recently installed a brand new commercial 6-ring cooker with large oven. There are 35 bunks in heated dormitories (2 x 7, 1 x 6, 1 x 5, 2x4 and a 2 - bedded Leaders’ room) suitably arranged to cater for mixed groups. Male and female toilets are available within the building. Most rooms have a wash hand basin. Prices now include all gas and electricity used. Helme Lodge has recently been fully re-wired and a fire alarm system installed.
